Instacart is doing well by each metric. Adjusted EBITDA, the softest of all profitability metrics that can call themselves such, grew from $34 million in 2021 to $187 million in 2022. More recently, Instacart's adjusted EBITDA grew from -$20 million in H1 2022 to +$279 million in H1 2023.

The pandemic supercharged Instacart's growth. Sales quadrupled from 2019 to 2020, Instacart said, and continued on a strong pace through early 2022. The company acknowledged that the boom in grocery delivery was unlikely to repeat itself, but said the Covid spike set it up for long-term success.

As North America's leading brand in the grocery delivery space, it has been estimated that Instacart, still a private company, pulled in revenue of over $2.5 billion in 2022, with a total valuation of $12 billion.

Arm-based PC SoCs offer several advantages over x86 CPUs, including customizability, lower power consumption, and integrated AI and GPUs. The rise of Arm-based PCs is expected to continue with the support of Windows and Office365, native apps, and industry experts.
